Sons of Norway World Chocolate Tour Program
Sons of Norway- Mandt Lodge will offer a World Chocolate Tour at Sons of Norway- 317 South Page Street, in Stoughton on Thursday, February 15, at 7:00 PM. Brook Johnson has been sampling and learning about chocolate for more than 20 years. He started Yahara Chocolate 5 years ago, and now boasts the largest collection of chocolate bars anywhere in the Midwest. With over 250 different bars to choose from, he is certain to have something familiar and expected. Tour the world with chocolate. Travel from the prehistory of cacao cultivation to the modern chocolate bar while sampling 6 different chocolate bars. Learn about the history and culture of cacao and chart its rise as Food of the Gods to the world’s most popular confection. Mandt Lodge is handicapped accessible with a lift located on the south side of the building. There is parking on the street, public parking lot behind the Stoughton Senior Center, or in the Livsreise parking lot if their building is closed.
