Andreas Bergsaker
Andreas Bergsaker graduated with a master’s degree in product design from Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences in 2015. He specializes in everyday objects, using traditional craftsmanship to make everyday objects that will hold sentimental value for people now and in the years to come. When it comes to Scandinavian design, he told Muuto, “It is about realigning the production of domestic goods with the founding values of Scandinavian design, bringing together the concerns of humanism, beauty, and simplicity into a contemporary manufacturing and cultural context.”
Cecilie Manz
Cecilie Manz founded her own Copenhagen-based studio a year after graduating from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The pieces she has created in furniture, electronics, tableware and more have earned her world-wide acclaim and numerous awards and grants, including Three-Year Working Grant from the Danish Arts Foundation. Her designs are created with function and meaning at the forefront, and each piece is made with respect to its materials.
